LET Motorsports has just aquired (10/1/2208) a 2008 BMW 135i with the MSD81 DME. This vehicle has a build date of 04/2008 and is equipped with a manual 6 speed transmission.

Our first goal is to develop Stage I and Stage II software, along with an upgraded Intercooler, Intake, and Exhaust. We will be thinking outside the box and will be teaming up with other notable companies to ensure the project is a success and that the car creates the desired power.

First step is to add a few miles to the car. Next, we will be getting a baseline dyno.

Update: 10/07/2008 - Baseline Dyno @ P&L Motorsports. Max power 283whp / 291wtrq.

 

Update: 10/10/2008 - AFE Dual Intake Installed and Dyno performed at P&L Motorsports. No gains. :(

Update: 10/19/2008 - LET 135i running 12.7 @ 113 in the 1/4 mile. This was done at US41 in Indiana...with traction issues.

Update: 1/05/2009 - LET Stage I and Stage II software flash for the 135i complete. The coilovers were installed along with a CP-E Exhaust System.

Update: 2/06/2009 - LET 135i puts down 341Whp and 351Wtrq @ 11.7 PSI (LET Stage I Flash).
